I am trying to: display a bunch on media files (mp3s) - 4 at a time. If the user clicks on a file it reloads the page with that file loaded in the player. I have this working but now I want to be able to auto load page 2 of the paginated results if the file they selected was on page 2. Is there a way determine which page the results are currently on to automatically make the ajax call and move the results to the correct page when the page loads?

Unfortunately, this isn't possible within the scope of Views Plugin. You will need some custom approaches to achieve this.

You can also contact our Custom Coding Service (hidden link) to build such customized solutions for you.

ok I now have something strange happening. I have added a shortcode to the view to update dynamically the url of an a tag. When the shortcode is included all of the audio files locations are just listed before the view is displayed.

It depends how you have code your short code. A short code's call back function must return the results, rather echoing, which may throw unexpected output. Further it depends how you are using your short code in the scope of your output.

I will suggest to open a new thread for this issue. So you (and others) can get more focused solution around the problem, thanks.
