[Closed] Parametric search won´t display checkbox results when used as dropdown select

I have a parametric view that is has 30 checkboxes that show people´s language they speak. On the front end when I want a user to search for the language they need, I want a dropdown instead of 30 checkboxes.

Currently only results are being displayed if I used Types Auto Style with the check boxes. If I use the select display option nothing happens.

If I try to use checkboxes with this %%name%% %%count%% option enabled, I see the results with the correct count, but as soon as I search every language turns to 0 and no results are shown.

I noticed when I added the select option, it adds a new filter as well. I am stumped as why it´s not showing the same results.
