We’re almost ready with a major update for all Toolset plugins. This new version focuses on theme integration. However, it also includes an important addition to the Bootstrap styling that Toolset offers and we want to make sure it’s not going to cause issues on your sites.
Toolset includes the Bootstrap CSS and will load it by default. This allows you to use Layouts and grid elements in Views, without adding the Bootstrap CSS yourself. Until now, the Bootstrap CSS that shipped with Toolset was partial and only covered the grid elements. Due to popular demand, we’re updating the Bootstrap CSS file that ships with Toolset, to include convenience classes for styling.
Now, you will be able to read the Bootstrap documentation, pick the styling that you like and add these classes to your Toolset-based sites. Everything in the Bootstrap documentation will be available when you build sites with Toolset.

Want to test with a beta version?
You can try this right now. Go to your Toolset account, click on Downloads and switch to Beta. Download the betas of Types, Views, CRED and Layouts. You will see what’s coming in the next release, but please double check that the updated CSS doesn’t modify anything on you sites.
We’re adding this CSS in order to make it easier to style sites. If you think that any of the new styling may conflict with your existing designs, please let us know by leaving a comment.
