Parent post type permissions are affecting child post type in admin menu

Symptoms

A post type menu item can be places under another post type menu item, using the show_in_menu setting.

In this case, when edit permission for parent post type is removed from a user role, but read permission is granted for the child post type for this same role, the child post type is still not accessible.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next release of Toolset Access.

In the meantime, you can download this file, extract it and replace Helper.php file in /types-access/includes/ folder.
