Resolved in: Toolset Types 2.2.5

Symptoms

When using Types fields with URL validation on a CRED edit form, you get Please enter a valid URL address pointing to the file.

Workaround

In the meantime, you can remove your current version of Types, download and install this patched version of Types.

This will not cause any loss of data at your website.

  • There’s a problem with this patch version when going to edit a Content Template via Toolset > Content Templates. The page displays the header: Edit Content Template and the “Save all sections” at once button and then nothing more.
Rolling it back to the official release of 2.2.4 brings back the ability to edit the template.
    Thanks!

    • Sorry for the inconvenience. We updated the patched zip file of Types, could you please try again?

  • I tried using the patched version of Types and the problem went away on the content template entry screen. However, when I went to go in and edit the content template, nothing is being shown under the top save button. Same when I try to add something. If I deactivate the Types plugin or go back to the old version, I can then edit a content template
