Unable to insert custom fields or create user forms with Fusion Builder

Resolved

Reported for: Toolset Avada Integration 1.3

Resolved in: Toolset Layouts 2.0

Topic Tags: Layouts plugin

Symptoms

When using Fusion Builder, the toolset buttons to insert Fields, Views and CRED Forms are missing (i.e. in Text Module).

Workaround

The ideal solution needs some important changes in core of the plugins. The issue may take some time and will be resolved in a future release.

  • Beda has a point. It’s also important to keep in mind that AVADA Theme is a top install count on theme forest and they come with fusion out of the box. My point is that it’s important to support to align with and partner with wp developers that have huge marketshare like avada and fusion builder. maybe wp-types can reach out or vice versa to fusion builder to work together instead of the backhanded insult insinuating that fusion builder is not developing according to “Codex practices of WordPress”.

    just an idea.

  • Hi David, you are right about your idea. We already have a compatibility team working to bridge such gaps. We are working hard to make toolset compatible with 3rd party themes and plugins. A solution to this very issue, will soon be out there.

  • I hope this gets resolved. I don’t particularly care much for Avada, but I inherited a website that I have to maintain that was built with Avada. Now I need to use Toolset. How can I get notified when this issue is finally resolved.

By the way, I am using Genesis, and the integration with it and Toolset is very robust and sound.
