Visual editor cell in top header has conflicts with Divi Builder on Front-end

Won't fix

Reported for: Toolset Divi Integration 1.5

Symptoms

If “Visual Editor” cell is used before “Divi content row”, it creates conflicts when user tries to invoke Divi’s Front-end Builder. Divi content row is where the main content of the page (i.e. Post Body) is rendered.

Workaround

While this kind of integration is deprecated, if you still use it you can adopt the following workarounds:

  1. Do not use Visual Editor Cell, before “Divi content row”.
    • There are a few other cells which can cause this issue (i.e. Views, Content Template, WordPress Archive). So it is advised, do not use these cells before “Divi content row”.
  2. On the other hand, you can use Divi Builder in the WordPress admin area.
    • This is a fallback solution, which is always available. It is recommended for the time being, if your requirements do not allow adopting the #1 (above).
