Can import CPT but not it's custom Taxonomy

This is the community support forum for Types plugin, which is part of Toolset. Toolset is a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I want ti import posts into my site for a custom post type EVENTS

I have done this with these instructions

But, this does not tell you the important and I thought simple thing of assigning custom taxonomy

For example I want to add data for the taxnonmies of region, dayofweek and provicder (for quiz nights).

I am using csv_ctax_region etc... and then putting the slug of the tax item (sa) and it won't import

Dear David,

You are right, the document does not introduce taxonomy information, since the plugin "CSV Importer" is a 3rd part plugin, which is out the range of Toolset plugins, I suggest you follow their document to setup your CSV file:

CUSTOM TAXONOMIES

Once custom taxonomies are set up in your theme’s functions.php file or
by using a 3rd party plugin, csv_ctax_(taxonomy name) columns can be
used to assign imported data to the taxonomies.
