Hi there,

Unfortunately, CRED and WooCommerce continue to be a troublesome combination. Managing product terms/attributes hasn't been working from the start. Also, cred_field completely stopped working altogether for product terms/attribute when WooCommerce 3.0 was introduced. Finally, recently adding image uploads/attachments stopped working too.

See https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-woocommerce-3-0-0-cred_field-select-not-working-displayed-as-text-field/ and https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-attaches-images-to-auto-draft-post-with-wp-4-74-woocommerce-3-0-4/.

You guys stated some time ago that there're still aspects that have to be figured out when it comes to managing WooCommerce products. At the moment, CRED & WooCommerce 3+ versions are basically unusable though. Being able to add title, post content and some custom fields just isn't enough.

Can you please give us some insight into your roadmap regarding adding/editing WooCommerce products? We invested a lot of time and resources into making CRED our main form and front end management plugin. At the moment it looks like this wasn't the right decision though.

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi, I will reach out to our development team to see if they have any concrete plans available for me to share with you. Please standby and I will update you as soon as I have some more information.

OK, thanks. It would be great if you could treat at least the image attachment issue with priority. I think this is already listed as an official CRED feature for WooCommerce products in your docs.

Cheers,
Thomas

I have the following information for you. This is the most up-to-date document, and the features of CRED and CRED Commerce described here are intended to be functional:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/creating-woocommerce-products-using-cred-forms/

Any feature defined here that is not working as intended should be reported and processed as a bug by our development team. Any new features that we have definite plans to implement will be outlined in our blog in upcoming posts. If the documentation is incomplete, please let us know where you see gaps and we can fill those in as necessary. We currently do not have a timeline for implementing new functionality or features, so I do not have one to share with you at the moment.

Thanks, I'm already aware of that document. As aforementioned two of the features listed as already supported by CRED aren't working anymore since WooCommerce 3.0.0:

- uploading featured image & gallery images (not attached to product post)
- adding product attributes (cred_field select field type not working, text field displayed instead)

To clarify: Officially CRED is supporting the features listed above with limitations. However, currently they do not work even at the basic level outlined here https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/creating-woocommerce-products-using-cred-forms/...

I see, you have previously linked to two open tickets about these issues. I can tell you that this issue has been brought to our developers' attention:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-woocommerce-3-0-0-cred_field-select-not-working-displayed-as-text-field/

They are aware of the problem here and the ticket is in their workflow for resolution. I do not currently have a timeline for a fix, so I can't give you a solid date for this.

I can see the other issue is an open ticket here in the forum, so I would prefer to consolidate discussion of this issue in that ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-attaches-images-to-auto-draft-post-with-wp-4-74-woocommerce-3-0-4/

This ticket is now closed. If you're a WPML client and need related help, please open a new support ticket.
