I have a field named 'Country" it is a single line field. It does not appear that I can change that to a select field. When I delete it and try to create a new field called County it will not save because it stays there is already a field named Country. How do I permanently delete this field?

Thank you, Charlie

Try going to "Types > Custom Fields Control" (in your WordPress Admin Panel, of course), and delete it from there. Then try to create it again 🙂 - I've run into the same problem as you before hehe, hope that helps!

Hi Charles, Pedro is right: to permanently delete field - try from "Types > Custom Fields Control".
