I have a set of world wide pages with statistica and contact information for each country. I created custom field groups and a custom type, and that works perfectly. However on a regional page I would like to display the statistical information that was attached to the country page. Is it possible to do this? My client finds it difficult to change the same information in two locations.

Thanks
Patricia

This is beyond our scope of our tech support for Types, however I think you would leave the data in the country post types, then create a custom regional page (custom PHP archive-style loop template) that sorts and filters by region (probably a region category taxonomy), and lists the results. The regional page is not a post type nor contains any data, but simply an archive style list. Our Views product could do this very easily without programming and your regional page list of countries could contain any fields from the country post type.

If you wanted to actually have a regional page with data about the region and then list the pages of the countries in the region, you'd have set up a parent child relationship, with your data in only one place.

This is without seeing your site, so I may not have addressed your issue correctly.
