I don't think that you can use this fields like that.
You can define a custom field of the type "Single line" and in it to input the image URL.

Hi George,

But i want to select images as well as i want to enter external image paths , so i am using image field to select the image as well i can enter image path.

Please advise

Hello and thank you for your patience.

Our developers had looked about this function.

You can either wait for the next stable version, or use the latest development version from https://toolset.com/home/types-manage-post-types-taxonomy-and-custom-fields/developers/

Then you can use this in your functions.php to enable "?" in the image URL

add_filter('wpcf_allow_questionmark_in_image_url', '__return_true');
