importing custom posts via csv

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: general question

I expected to see: a way to do this without purchasing another plugin!

Instead, I got: can't find a way to do this.

yes, and it tells me how to use a plugin i have to pay for. seems like toolset should provide this function - kind of basic...

Hi Malaga,

The plugin that is used in our Documentation is this one here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/csv-importer/

It is also a free plugin. We do have an import function but that is for importing and exporting our toolset data.

thanks. the plugin is free but you have to pay for pro to import toolset custom post type. i had to go ahead and pay for a different importer (the one you guys link to hasn't been updated in 3 years).
