I am bit confused by these 2 posts on how to create relationships between posts and how to use them?
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/creating-post-type-relationships/
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/querying-and-displaying-child-posts/
I am creating a video directory of commercials and would like to connect those videos (posts) with the agency that produced them (CPT). On the individual video post, I would like to show the agency. On a custom view template for the agency, I would like to embed a view of all of the videos they produced.
Should I use a taxonomy? Should I just make the videos a child of the studio type and use the second tutorial above?
I tried the later but the views do not show anything.

Dear David,
You are going in the right direction and both tutorials apply to what you want to do. I think you chose right in using CPT for Agencies because you will have custom fields for Agencies.
In the Video Content Template, follow this guide to show parent fields:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/displaying-fields-of-parent-pages/
And in the Agency Content Template, you can include a View View as explained in the first tutorial you linked.
Try it and let me know any specific problems that you find.

It worked! Thank you.
Although half of the problem was that I had the relationship reversed. Once I made the agency the parent....it worked like a charm.
