[Resolved] Problem with drop down menu during creating Archive layout

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
When using the Loop Wizard in a Views cell in Layouts the dropdown to select post fields to include in the loop output is hidden behind the dialog because of the wrong z-index.

Solution:
There is a workaround for this issue—which will be fixed in Views 2.4—described in the following errata.

Hello!

I have problem with "Edit Layouts Loop View" (loop wizard)...
I can not chose type of field because it drops behind first window...

Hi Sinisa

This is a known issue and a patch is described in this errata: https://toolset.com/errata/fields-cannot-be-selected-in-loop-wizard-when-using-views-cells-in-a-layout/

You can try applying the patch, be sure to clear your browser cache once you have made the change and you should find it working okay.

The fix will be included in the next Views release which is likely next week.
