Upgraded to WP 4.6.1 and got the white screen of death. Renamed the Plugins folder to Plugins_old and then started manually adding them back in activating to discover that it was Toolset Types causing the issue.

When I copy the plugin back it says that Version 2.2.1 is available, whether I Activate 2.1 or update to 2.2.1 and then activate it still results in the white screen of death.

I removed the plugin and then downloaded a fresh install from the website and that works but I have lost all formatting so the large section of my website that uses the functionality is broken.

How can I get the plugin working again AND not lose everything I had setup?

The website is: hidden link

1. The latest Toolset Types Version is to download on your Toolset Account.
It is currently 2.2.1

2. ❌ Backup your website and database ❌
• Deactivate/Delete the "Installer" plugin (if you have it)
• Deactivate the Types plugin
• Login via FTP to your wp-content/plugins folder
• Delete the Types plugin folders
• Go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ and download the latest stable Types Plugin, then extract it.
• Upload the plugin via FTP to the wp-content/plugins folder.
• Register the Plugin for your site
⌥ you can do that under Dashboard > Types > Settings > Types Tools > Installer

This will NOT delete anythig you set up with Types, nor will it destroy your formatting.
But as for good and WordPress suggested practice, please perform a backup previous to this.

3. If the error still happens, please enable WP Debug.
https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG

Then tell me the error you see.
