On a server with php7, activating Types plugin crashes the site.
If I switch my host to php 5.6 it's working fine.

php7 brings a speed increase of ~200% for wordpress 4.4 sites, so it would be cool if we could have all sites upgraded asap. Thanks!

I deeply apologize this inconvenience.

The issue is known.

You can refer to this Post/Thread as it's our main thread where I update from time to time about this problem, and also a temporary solution is mentioned.

Thank you

To avoid confusion and eventually other issues, could you quickly enable the WP Debug Mode while you use PHP 7 and Toolset?

Please then report to me the Errors you will see.

Here is the DOC on how to enable the WP Debug Mode:

Thank you

thanks for looking into this, sorry for not giving the debug info immediately.
The error is indeed the same as in the thread you mentioned:

Fatal error: 'break' not in the 'loop' or 'switch' context in wp-content/plugins/types/embedded/common/toolset-forms/lib/adodb-time.inc.php on line 1012

I have applied the hotfix found on https://toolset.com/errata/views-compatibility-issue-with-php-7/
and it works great! Sites are so much faster 🙂
Thanks so much!
