  • I wonder when you will fix the widget headers. I can’t style them now.

    in this file wpddl.cell_widget_area.class.php on line 90 I read:
    // Don’t show the create new widget area button in this version
    // We’ll complete this later

    Will you soon fix this please?

  • Dear Dido,

    I am Riccardo, Layouts Developer, the comment you are referring to is an old comment, a left behind from previous versions, but the “Create new Widget” button it is indeed working: you can create new widgets from Widgets Area cell, as much as you want.

    I don’t understand exactly what is the connection of the Widget Area creation with the Widgets title style, but to style the Widgets titles in a Widget Area created with Layouts, you can simply assign a CSS class to the Widget Area cell, using the input “Tag classes” and create a specific rule in Layouts CSS editor, something like:

    .my-widget-area .widget-title{font-weight:bold;}

    This will style specifically Widgets titles added to the Widget Area cell you added or created using Layouts editor.

    I hope this helps, best regards
    Riccardo

  • I am not sure, but I think Dido might be talking about widget titles in a Widget Area Cell. If I have a single widget the html is like this with markup for the title:

    Recent additions

    If I use a widget in an area the markup is missing making it difficult to style with css:

    Recent additions

  • Sorry I have got my comment markup wrong! The two snippets should be:

    Recent additions… etc
    and:
    Recent additions… etc

  • One more go:
    div class=”col-sm-3 widget-cell”
    div class=”widget woocommerce widget_products”
    h3 class=”widgettitle” Recent additions /h3
    and:
    div class=”col-sm-3″ Recent additions
